The USTA will showcase Net Generation players ages 8-12 from around the country in on-court demonstrations at the US Open Championships. The Racquet Club of Cocoa Beach demonstration will take place on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 on a tournament court at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
Each participating youth and one accompanying parent/legal guardian will receive:
- a US Open Grounds Pass for the day after the demonstration
- a travel stipend of $200 per youth/adult pair
- transportation to and from the Hyatt Grand Central and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center
Any other expenses are the responsibility of the youth and accompanying parent/legal guardian.
Participating youth and accompanying adult must arrive in New York on Tuesday, August 28 and be available Wednesday, August 29 from 7:00am until 11:00am.
Participating youth and accompanying adult must submit their names and completed waiver to John Sanders in person or via email at sanders@ustaflorida.com to confirm participation by 5:00pm, July 26, 2018. A minimum of 6 youths must participate in order for the demonstration and offer to take place up to a maximum of 12 youth.
